Consciously Crafted

Join us on our journey to enhance hair brushes in every aspect. We're dedicated to creating innovative designs and producing them sustainably.

The Ziggy recipe

Ziggy is crafted from 100% recycled nylon; both the body of the brush and the pins/bristles. The decision around Ziggy’s material was driven by our commitment to offer a product that not only prioritises environmental sustainability but also ensures exceptional performance and quality for you. The use of recycled nylon not only aligns with our commitment to make eco-friendly choices, but it is also extremely durable, long-lasting and heat resistant allowing you to buy better, keep forever.

The Ziggy packaging recipe

Ziggy’s unique packaging is made using 100% biodegradable material and is 100% recyclable.

Moulded to the shape of the Ziggy brush & secured using a stitched, recycled nylon string we have been able to eliminate all single use plastic and glue from the packaging.

The moulded body of the packaging is made from a mixture of Kraft Paper + Sugarcane Pulp (Bagasse).

This recipe creates both an eco-friendly and functional packaging solution for Ziggy.

When you are finished with your Ziggy packaging, put it in your recycling bin so it can go on to another life.

A Unique Packaging Journey

Sugarcane is a renewable resource that takes carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. Bagasse is a bi-product of the sugar industry, usually left for waste.

Kraft paper, also from plant source, helps provide stability, durability, protection and withstands industrial pressures (such as water + heat).

Sugarcane

Sugarcane is harvested with the juices extracted to make raw sugar and molasses products

Bagasse

Bagasse is the fibrous sugar cane pulp remaining which is used in many different industries

Bagasse Sheets

For packaging, the Bagasse is then dried & pressed into a board and rolled

Moulded & Thermoformed

The Bagasse is then moulded into packaging products

Disposed

After use, the Bagasse product can be disposed of either with your compost food waste or via commercial recycling

Biodegrades

Compost is used to enrich nutrients in the soil
